Herbert Mang is a distinguished professor and expert in mechanics of deformable solids, structural and computational mechanics, known for his contributions to the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. Appointed as National RPGE Chair Professor at Tongji University, he has served as President and Secretary General of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. With a career spanning various leadership roles, Mang has significantly influenced computational acoustics and multi-field and multi-scale analysis.
